| The next morning, Pierre's mother shrieked when she saw the hat. When Pierre came in, he looked first at the hat, then at Tate. "A hat!" he said, popping the large mass onto his head. Pierre's father laughed so hard that he had to sit down. Everyone was enjoying themselves immensely, but then, Pierre handed the hat to his mother, and she began to unravel it! |
